Sunday, through the priesthood power, Kent gave Anna a name and a blessing. We did it here at our apt as to avoid bringing her to church and exposing her the sicknesses of the world, her first week of life; and all the family was here on Sunday! It was a beautiful blessing and she wore a beautiful white dress her grandmother made for her. Those who were in the circle were her father, both grandfathers, her great grandfather Powell, her uncle Curtis and the whole bishopric. Both Anna and I are grateful that Kent is a worthy priesthood holder.
Her dress is so pretty, and I love the one of her looking up at Kent. Congratulations you guys. She is so beautiful!

ReplyDeleteI can't get over how adorable Anna is!!! And that dress.....AMAZING! I'm so happy to know that so much family was able to attend the blessing. It's such a special time and really neat that you were able to share it with so many loved ones. I wish our cousin-cousins could grow up together! :(
