Maybe I'm Going Crazy?

At a playgroup get together, at my friends house, last week I was constantly trying to keep Elise from climbing the stairs; that's all she wanted to do. When it was time to go outside in the backyard for snacks I went to help Anna get what she needed and then all of a sudden I thought, "Oh no the stairs! Elise is probably half way up and about to fall on her head!" So I ran back in the house to find her, and she wasn't on the stairs, so I quickly scanned the kitchen, the family room, the backyard, everywhere and I could not find her anywhere. Panic was beginning to set in. Where was Elise!? As one of the other mom's walked back in the room I asked, "Have you seen my baby anywhere?" She gave me a confused looked and replied, "Aren't you holding her?" I looked over and realized I was holding her!!! What!!! I think I am going a little Crazy. :)

  1. That is so funny!! I think we all have moments of losing our minds when kids become part of the equation.

  2. I went to the store the other day to buy sugar and diapers. I got to the register without those things and had to go back, twice. I think it's a pregnancy thing. Once you are pregnancy, your brain will never be the same. P.S. I put the milk in the pantry the other day too. =)
